Welcome to Doxa International University, home of the Graduate School of Psychology. If your interest is to train in Counseling and Clinical Psychology with an accent on Christian Ethics, do not take a step further you have arrived to the institution which will fulfill your dream. Our program is unique in that it takes the highly scientific training you'll find in most schools in America offering similar programs, but committed to a training mission that is faithful to both the scientific-professional discipline of clinical psychology and to our distinctive Christian identity. We refer to this as “integration across the curriculum”, and you will find that we take seriously the relationship between Christianity and psychology, and that we offer seamless integration that occurs in each core course and elective. Our academic community seeks to contribute to the ongoing development of Counseling and Clinical Psychology from a Christian perspective. We pursue this passion through our training, scholarship and service activities. We offer training in counseling and clinical psychology, and we'll seek accreditation by the American Psychological Association, while simultaneously integrating faith and learning throughout the curriculum. The intent of our training is to produce graduates whose career primarily involves psychological practice. Although the faculty represents a variety of clinical orientations, an emerging emphasis in empirically supported treatments is present throughout the curriculum.
